    Title:  Social Media, Organizational Policies and HR and Leadership's Role

    This session will focus on organizational policies around social media.  Specifically understanding trends and how organizations and their HR professionals are using social media to enhance the company brand and attract talent.  There will be discussion on the types of policies companies should have and some of the "what not to do" kinds of scenarios from the workplace.

    The presenter will guide HR professionals in ways to catch the attention of talent to your company’s mission. The speaker will offer simple and easy to implement tips or guidelines easy to implement regardless of whether you are from small to midsize organizations or a department of one.  

    As a result of this program, participants will learn:

    • Social Media Trends related to recruitment
    • How HR Professionals are using social media to enhance the company brand
    • Social media for employee engagement and retention
    • How to develop social media policies that will support these efforts
    • Examples of policies companies should have and some tips on what not to command in the
    • This program is pending approval for 1.00 (General) recertification credit hour toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and approved for 1 hour SHRM PD credit.
